Awesome!

Please include a photo with your submission. I think it will help personalize your story. Some folks are doing videos, too. Also have your twitter name and any blog info, etc.
If you know of other people that you think would be interested please forward this post to them or put me in touch with them on twitter (@readyforplanb).
From my end, know that I admire you for the example you’re setting!
Peace,
Peter

I’m two years vegan. I write a blog that includes recipes, rants, philosophical discussions and logistical issues. I’ve recently started podcasting as well. I, too, collect testimonials and feature guest bloggers…even non-vegans who have an intelligent idea.
twitter is @wakingupvegan; FB is http://www.facebook.com/wakingupvegan
I would love to share my journey here!
Silly me! My twitter is @craftychicky, and its because of @theheathenvegan I am here
Hi Peter – I would like to submit my vegan testimonial. I left my email above so you can send me some info.
These testimonials have been so inspiring. They are just “normal” people who are vegan. I’ve really related to several of the stories. It would be my hope that somone relates to mine as well….
Thanks for doing this and now I’m off to explore your blog.
I would love to share my story.
Christine

About two years ago, I became inspired to get healthy. Well, the fact that it was New Year resolution time helped. I had just watched Julie and Julia, and feeling inspired, I decided to cook through a vegan cook book. If I felt better, healthier, and more energetic after doing this, I would make it my lifestyle.
As far as picking a cookbook, I had no idea where to start. I work for Barnes & Noble, and at the time all of the Skinny Bitch books were on a promotion, so I purchased both Skinny Bitch and Skinny Bitch in the Kitch.
As my experiment began, not only did I feel better, but my whole reason for wanting to continue to be vegan changed. I started watching documentaries like Food, Inc. and I was so disgusted at what the government allows (and in many cases, encourages) to happen to animals. I have never been a political person, but seeing these images sparked something that in me that I can only explain as a combination of outrage and compassion.
So here I am two years later…
I cook vegan for my health, I live vegan for the animals.

I just came across this via a twitter link. I haven’t been a vegan long but I would love to share my story of what started my journey first to vegetarianism and then veganism.
My twitter is @pointypix
i am also an artist and animals feature heavily in my work. I have a blog here: http://www.pointypix.blogspot.com
thanks

The first time I saw it I was assenting all the time and crying in the video parts; it was so hard to see the animals suffering… But I think this guy is absolutely expressive and he knows how to capture the audience attention because he really feels what he is talking about. I support Gary and I honestly would have more people like him going into public centers and applying a little bit of education that kids sadly won’t find in their books.
